Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. Matthew 7:3-5
While searching President Trump for amorphous, interpretive, innocuous words or actions that could perhaps maybe begin to possibly be considered something to contemplate pursuing in regards to a far-reaching, distant possibility of the thought of something along the lines of obstruction, there’s this plank the size of the state of Texas with Hillary Clinton’s proven actions written all over it.
This is ridiculous. Fair is fair. Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it. Regardless of how they feel about Trump or Clinton, lawmakers and investigators are bound and expected to follow the evidence to the truth – wherever that may land them.
Is the Special Counsel, the FBI, the Office of the Inspector General, the Oversight Committee, and the Department of Justice ignoring clear proof of obstruction of justice on the part of Mrs. Clinton? If you recall, she refused to hand over documents, cell phones and records requested by the highest legal entities in the country and instead destroyed them using hammers and Bleach Bit data erasers. I wonder if those actions got in the way of any entities getting answers during their investigations. Of course they did! And even a slow thinking schlub knows that something purposefully and premeditatedly getting in the way of an investigation would be … wait for it …. obstruction.
So why ignore all the obvious, provable obstruction to search endlessly for a possible crumb of an unprovable one? Is it because some people desperately want President Trump to go away? Or is it because some people really are above the law?
Who honestly believes Hillary Clinton could withstand a Mueller-esque, two plus year investigation into her dealings, meetings, and associates? Would a deep dive into all things Hillary yield a no collusion conclusion? Well, I guess that depends on who is conducting the investigation. After all, this is not the first time Mrs. Clinton was miraculously and curiously cleared of things that any other person would have been charged with. She’s like a cat with nine political lives; one for each time she gets away with breaking the law. I wonder if she has any left.
