Not Your Average 50 Something
As a responsible parent, you are going to have to consciously define your village and then make sure your child stays within its confines, lest he fall prey to the values and behaviors of our ever-degrading society ... forced to grow up far quicker than their developmental maturity will allow. This is the modern-day village at work.
If you say yes to anarchy, then we should eliminate all borders and change our country’s name to the American region of the world and submit to the rules and authority of whoever has the biggest stick.
my motto was: wear something and say something or you gets nothing! It’s already free candy, is it too much to ask you to give a little effort you spoiled malcontent!
Sometimes, we traded our loot with each other before making our way to our own homes. Once inside, it was that special time again: candy sorting time! No matter how old I got, sorting my candy into piles of sweet goodness never got old.
And what is this notion that minorities can’t get a photo ID? Are we so inferior, incompetent,and fundamentally unintelligent that we can’t do what everyone else in the country is required to do? Is the task of sitting down in front of a government agency camera so daunting that minorities need special exemptions?
